SMove

LaravelVue.jsInertia.jsTypeScriptGraphQLOAuth2Browser Extension

Organize your relocation and coordinate address changes across all the services you are registered with.

SMove is the software artifact of my master's thesis. Moving usually means updating your address with dozens of service providers by hand. SMove lets you keep your addresses, connect the services you use, plan a relocation and pick a strategy for every single address change, from email over website forms to webhooks and APIs, while tracking confirmations along the way.

The application is built with Laravel, Inertia.js and Vue and offers an OAuth2 secured REST and GraphQL API for partner integrations. A companion browser extension for Chrome and Firefox recognizes the service you are currently visiting and helps you fill in its address forms (source code).

SMove

Tasqd

LaravelVue.jsInertia.jsTypeScriptTailwind CSS

A lightweight task manager for organizing projects, tasks and subtasks. Work in progress.

Tasqd is a side project in progress: a task manager with projects, nested subtasks and a rich-text editor for task descriptions, built with Laravel, Inertia.js and Vue.

MetaFlow

MetaFlow

LaravelVue.jsInertia.jsTypeScriptTailwind CSS

A web application to quickly view and edit the IPTC metadata of images, wherever they are stored.

MetaFlow started as the accompanying project of the Web Technologies module in my master's studies. It connects to different storage providers such as the local disk, Dropbox or WebDAV, lets you browse your folders and edit the IPTC metadata of many images at once, based on configurable tag definitions. Architectural decisions are documented as ADRs.

Storage-Space

TypeScriptOpen Source

Type-safe, predefined localStorage and sessionStorage keys for TypeScript applications.

Define all storage keys of your application in one place, with typed values, initial values, exchangeable serializers (JSON, Base64 or your own) and change events. Available on npm.

Opengraph Laravel

PHPLaravelOpen Source

A small, expressive Laravel package to build Open Graph meta tags and Twitter cards.

Set your Open Graph and Twitter card data fluently from anywhere in your request, for example in a controller, and render all tags with a single Blade component. Available on Packagist and used on this website.

Datadog Laravel

PHPLaravelDatadogOpen Source

Report metrics, service checks and events from Laravel applications to Datadog with a fluent API.

A Laravel integration for the official Datadog PHP SDK. Besides custom metrics, timers, service checks and events it automatically tracks database query and HTTP response times, and ships with a fake client for testing. Available on Packagist and used on this website.

werdetnachbarn.de

werdetnachbarn.de

LaravelGraphQLReactNext.jsTypeScriptTailwind CSS

A platform that makes building and buying homes together with other people easier and more affordable.

From 2021 to 2025 I was one of five co-founders of werdetnachbarn.de and its lead developer, in practice the CTO. The platform brings people together in building communities (Baugemeinschaften), so they can plan, build and buy affordable homes together, an old concept we wanted to bring into the 21st century.

I was responsible for the technical side: a Laravel backend with a GraphQL API (Lighthouse), OAuth via Passport, search with Meilisearch and media storage on S3, and a Next.js frontoffice with interactive maps. Around it we built a number of internal Laravel and TypeScript packages, Docker images and the infrastructure to run everything.

christian-hollaender.de

LaravelReactTypeScriptInertia.jsTailwind CSS

My personal website and blog, where I write about software development.

A Laravel application with an Inertia.js and React frontend, including server-side rendering. Articles are written in a custom backend and can be cross-posted to platforms like dev.to and Hashnode.
